Dabchick is a 2000 Picnic Cat, hull is white with deck molding the Com-Pac beige. Commissioned in September 1999, she was epoxy barrier coated from new and for the first 2 seasons was in a freshwater lake, so was also hard anti-fouled. Once she began to be dry-sailed, I have not renewed the anti- fouling, so not sure how effective it would now be. She has always been used in freshwater.  She has been stored in a garage for  each off-season and for all but 4 of the sailing seasons (2 years in water and 2 years on a boat lift).

Several years ago I installed a deep-cycle battery to serve a Minn Kota 30# trolling motor to replace a "dead" outboard. The battery is now quite old and probably will need to be replaced.

As far as known defects, I'm aware of 3:
1.  Sail (original) has been patched where some mice chewed a small (approx 1-1/2 inch diameter) hole one winter - sail is functional.
2.  There's a small dent in the cockpit sole where the outboard skeg hit the sole - it doesn't leak, so probably just cosmetic in my opinion.
3.  Forestay has a slight kink just above the swage.

As far as upgrades are concerned:
1.  Sail cover (Sunbrella) was renewed a few years ago, but has not been exposed to the elements and is in great shape.
2.  Trolling motor installation as mentioned above.
3.  Trailer has guide posts installed to help launch and retrieve.
4.  Rudder gudgeons were changed from the original plastic to bronze bushings to eliminate sloppiness.
5.  Halyard blocks were increased in size to avoid halyards rubbing on the cheeks.

Trailer has very few miles (probably under 1000) and is the original Performance trailer with the break-back (tilting) chassis (never used the break-back). Tires (2 plus spare on rim) were replaced in 2013 and have been garaged since then.

The boat and the trailer are both NC titled for the current year, located in the Raleigh area.

For the last 6 years, I have only used her once or twice, hence the belief that I should probably let her go.

Asking $6,500 as-is, where-is.

She looks lovely, Jon898 -- best wishes for a speedy sale! If I might humbly suggest, for additional exposure, listing her on sailboatlistings dot com is free, too. My former Com-Pac 23D was sold via the sailboatlistings site in less than two weeks; I was very pleased with the results and I don't believe I had any scammers reach out.
