clr rae course

   i think everyone would agree that the clr cup race went really well this year (even matt thought so). next year we are planning to have the same course with markers from the carlyle lake sailing association (they are much bigger than mine). i dont think anyone had a problem since the race didnt start until 1 pm and everyone had plenty of time to sail the course prior to start time. if the weather cooperates next year we might have two races. the sail to the silo was cancelled due to forest fire smoke from canada (it was like sailing inside of a ping pong ball. as always we look forward to hosting the event next year and welcome any newcomers. again thanks to the sailors who attended. its a special week for us. please dont hold the catalina against us.
