New Member Saying Hi

Hi, Everyone. As my username says, I'm Dave in Rhode Island. I'm 39, have daysailed for 15+ years, sold a very problematic Picnic Cat earlier this year, and have a deposit down on a 2010 Sun Cat I hope to bring home this spring. I'm interested in using the SunCat for gunkholing around RI and ME. I don't believe the boat has lazy jacks so I'll be adding some simple version to help keep the sail out of the cockpit and off our kids' heads (we'll need to motor under a low bridge between our house on a river and the harbor). Happy new year everyone.
