I wonder how the Hutchins facility will fare in the aftermath of Ian. I'm not at all familiar with the area, but looking at Google maps and their street view I'm afraid they won't make out well. It would be a shame if they go out of business.

Nice people, good business.

I am quite worried and concerned for the folks at Com-Pac — I hope that they are all safe!

I sent an email to Gerry at Com-Pac to check in and to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone at Com-Pac. Gerry replied to my email and said that they were all OK, and that they even still had power. He said that it was just very windy there. So everyone is safe and sound, from what I gathered from Gerry's correspondence. Thought that I would report, here, to let you all know that they are all OK.

I think they were lucky enough to be on the pull side rather than the push side.  As a veteran of a half dozen majors, if it has to hit you, the pull side is where you want to be.

"FYI, Com-Pac Yachts has come through the storm without damage.  We will resume work tomorrow 9/30/22.  Thanks to all for your concern."
