I'm in the process of refinishing my teak.  I've never used Silkens Cetol but that is what I am using this time.  I bought both Natural Teak and Marine gloss planning for three coats of each as recommended.  I've finished the three coats of Natural teak and was surprised by the amount of gloss by just using that.  Not sure what the marine gloss can bring to the party.  Anyone out there used both? Also, if I use the marine gloss, does the annual maintenance coat become that rather than the pigmented natural teak?

From my understanding the gloss is the sacrificial UV coating. This way the coloring of the Natural Teak coating isn't faded in areas. From my experience high traffic spots like perch seats needed both products each season for repairs but other areas only required small touch ups of the gloss.
