Topsail Beach Christmas Flotilla

For about 30 years there has been a flash-flotilla the night after Thanksgiving, starting at the north end of Banks Channel, traveling south about 10 miles. Some years as many as three dozen boats showed up. Florence disrupted the event, and we missed that year. I've participated since 2006, however, my Pearson 34 was sunk in the storm and things were just a mess for everyone. Last year it was just me in my CP 23. This year I was joined by my daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren in their CP16. The weather could not have been better for a wonderful boat ride.
