surly she cant take much more

Sure she can, and don't call me Shirley.  ;)

The woman's a saint for putting up with you for this long.  You should be kissing her feet and giving her back and foot massages daily!

Have you tried riding your bike?  Your in damn fine shape for any age, riding your bike would be an easy get out of the house and relieve some stress exercise.  I've been riding down to the lake and fishing twice a week and Joanie has been going for walks.  I even started lifting weights again.  Oh man, what a way to find out how old you really are!  I could barely move those 55 lb dumbbells out of the way!  I felt like such an old man starting out with 15 lb weights, but it's getting easier each week.

You just have to find ways of keeping busy.  For instance:

Two weeks ago I went to get some supplies from the hardware store.  A cop stopped me as I entered town and inquired where I was going during this stay at home order.  I told him I was an essential employee and I was headed to work.  Sceptical, he asked where I worked.   When I told him the donut shop, I got a full lights and siren escort!  Lucky me, the bakery is across the street from Ace.   ;D

Last week I was so bored I cleaned the truck with a toothbrush.  Then I waxed it using only Q-Tips and ear wax!

Earlier this week I started counting the blades of grass in a square yard so I can get a good estimate how many total blades we have.  Turns out, I can't find a calculator with enough digits.

Today I counted all the strands of hair on my head.  That took a whole 30 minutes.  :-\

Tomorrow I'm going to time how long it will take me to belly crawl the perimeter of our yard while encased in Saran Wrap.   Then I'm going to walk around the neighborhood knocking on doors asking for my mommy wearing my wetsuit, googles, snorkel, tank, and fins.
