Hello everyone.  Some of you probably know my father RogerDodger.  I've never been sailing before but am really looking forward to many great years of sailing with my dad.  Hopefully I'll learn a little something from you more experienced sailers.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all.

Aruton, welcome aboard. What Com-Pac model are we to sail in? skip.

OK a 23 with inboard diesel or an outboard? What's the name and is she registered in our site's log.
We can interpolate the hull numbers too if you wish for it's 'date of birth'.

Where in Michigan do you sail? We lived in Jackson, Mi. for a while.

Its a 1993 Com-Pac 23-3.  Its in very good condition and we can hardly wait to sail it.  The anticipation is driving me nuts.  :)  With luck we'll be on the water tomorrow if the winds are not gusting to hard on Lake Michigan.

We are going to be sailing mainly out of South Haven here in Michigan.  The boats name is the "Laura Lee" named after my mother and grandmother.  It also has an outboard motor.  I don't believe the boat is registered here at the site and I have no idea offhand what the hull numbers are.

Skip here the hull numbers are aft on the transom upper starboard side near the rub rail and in your [notebook] of ship's papers and registration, right?

Anyway the transom numbers are embossed and can be read easily. Additionally they may be under the starboard quarter birth.

Several places on this site are interpolate the number as to Mfg, boat designation, Hull number, and date of boat's birth.

So take a look~see in this form.
