Two super sails this week on Buzzards Bay. Friday sail in 10-15 kt winds from Marion to Megansett/Falmouth with my wife. Nice, easy sail on a warm, sunny day. Today, I needed to bring my boat from Wings Cove in Marion to Sippican Harbor to have the boatyard I use replace my outboard impeller tomorrow. A friend and I had planned a sail today and though we had a small craft advisory starting at noon, we set out for an adventurous sail. Mudlark performed admirably in the 2-4 ft rollers and 20+ kt gusts. We sailed with a full main and furled the jib to about 50% as the winds picked up. All in all, a fun ride that never felt out of control.
