Member list questions???

I seem to recall being able to download the membership list here, then sort by compac model and state.

Did that feature go away, or am I going senile?

To me, new folks would benefit from seeing those close to them that have the same boat.

The Compac registry seems to be a google sheets form or at least some type of xls spreadsheet form.  I've never tried to download and sort but that might be what you remember.  It would not have all members, but only those who have chosen to input.

If you don't have the list, go to Registry and find a 2010 post by Tim Gardner; the link is in that post.  Wish I could give you the date but if I leave now to check, all this two finger typing will disappear! Under registry, Tim's post is about four down.

When I downloaded as an excel spread sheet it was "view only", ask the owner to allow an edit, but xl let me sort without permission.
Sorting by state is not very helpful because quite a few members do not list a state and state is not a separate column. Sorting by length was a little better.
I found the quickest way to find nearby, say 100 miles, CP owners was just to scan the list and make notes.
Last I saw there were only 300 boats registered including duplicates. I think about 4500 ComPac sailboats have been produced, maybe 4000 still useable. So the registration list is not very representative.

Never met an owner who was not proud and pumped about his/her yacht, so why the meager registry!
