I am trying to find info on a dink I recently got in trading. It was built by american fiberglass corp, has a center board, oar locks, is 9'6" overall, with 3 benches. The hin is afcss1020473 so I know it is a 73 model but I can not find any more info on it. I am planing to restore it to original condition( just like my favorite boat in the world my CP-16) SO what I am looking for is info on sail plans(size, shape, mast height, anything)It is a bare hull only and I have no sailing equipment with it.Thanks ahead of time, Do we have any other dink fans out there?

I have a friend here in S. Florida that came across a dink hull similar to the one you describe.  He looked around and found a guy that had all the mast, rudder, boom and hardware from an old Dyer dink and made it work.  The boat is now finished and the all wood spars are beautiful. It's a little over powered (the original Dyer was 10'+ in length) but is sure fun to sail.

Good luck on your restoration.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I am surprised that on this internet thingy that I can find very little info on dinghy's(unless you want to buy a new one) I agree that finding some equipment from another boat may be my best option.
