So Hutchins is out of gaskets for portlights

and mine leak.   Any suggestions?   Sounds like they won't be restocking them.

ask them for their supplier. This seems reasonable if they won't restock.

I've used rubber tubing that you can get at an auto supply shop. It comes in various diameters and the trick is to find the diameter that works best. In the past I've used tubing used for windshield wash fluid. Clean out the old gasket & the glue that held it in place. Then replace it with the tubing & tack it in place with a black marine adhesive. Works great & is inexpensive.

Are you fellers talking about the round or oval bronze Perko portlights? Not really oval...kinda square.

Rick, that looks perfect for my 1985 23/2 round Perko portlights. Thank you!! I need to reseal all 6! Don't know why...I just did them- 9 years ago!! Seems like only 8!! Time sure flies!! Thank you!!
