Talked to Keith Scott a bit, and what a nice guy. As a new sailboat owner he answered a lot of questions. Looking forward to getting the 16 in the water as soon as I get it painted. One of the reasons I bought a compac was because of the owners club. Thank you sir for your advice and look forward to chatting again.

Hey AllThatJazz:
During the 80's when we were stationed in the Jacksonville / Havelock areas of NC, Keith sold us a C-16, C-23, Jaguar 27, and C-27.  He  brokered the C-27 for us when we retired.  When we returned in 2013, he again brokered a C-16 for us.  He has forgotten more about ComPac's than I know.  Including but not limited to the fuel strainer/filter in the fuel pick up in the C-27 that normal sailers would never guess was there.

Trust what he sez.  He is indeed a good reference for all ComPac and small boat sailing.

Smooth Sailing
