....what will I use on my teak this time being ever hopeful for the Utopian finish.  I have been letting my teak naturally strip, which doesn't take all that long given the longevity of all the coatings out there, and had been planning to start over with Semco Sealer.  However, I've been reading about Pettit Sea Gold as of late and am considering that.  Has anyone used it or am I to be the guinea pig on this one.:)

The ads say, 3-4 coats in a day, soap and water clean up, will not turn brown or orange with sun exposure and I quote directly "No marine wood finish, not Cetol, not varnish, not any synthetic, is as durable, as beautiful and as easy to apply".

Well you know what P T Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute".

Never tried it but I have used water based sealers in the past and they do not hold up.
Oriental, "The Sailing Capitol of North Carolina".

I'm also interested. All of my teak needs attention.
