Magma cockpit umbrella

Folks,

I spotted this the other day and it looks like an easy fix for some shade at slip or at anchor.

Does anyone have experience with the Magma Cockpit Umbrella?  It is $$, at @$100 usd.

I have two of their older 6 sided versions and mount them aft.  I love 'em!!

Mounted on the aft rails, just behind the sail. I sail with them all the time.

With a reinforcing piece of wood between the poles and criss-cross line to stabilize, they far great in strong winds.
I have had to reinforce each of the rivets in the umbrella swing points with thin SS wire. They did tend to break after strong sailing conditions, but no more.

It looks like they went from 6 sided to 4 sided and raised the price 40%.  The 6 sided were $60.

Here is the setup. There are more lines in the pic from a flag halyard and a small rigging cleat is on the backstay.

Stronger winds with a CP16 alongside. The umbrellas bend pretty hard in stronger winds while under sail but have been resilient with the reinforcement wire, cross bar and lines.

Thanks Salty.  I was thinking I would need 2 for good coverage.
