Solar lights from the garden

Many a Crew Member has put in 'her' garden these solar powered lamps just to embellish and enhance the abiance of the garden...and to heckle the shackles of the Captain.

....well I'm happy to enlighten the sailors who find sailing at night a joy, but finding one's way back to the inlet and dock a wee bit of 'a shore' [Sorry].

That is to say, "It's dark out here and I'll need my flashlight".

Why not buy a few solar powered lamps and place these guys on top of the floating bouys that mark the inlet to the lagoon that you park your boat in?

It works just fine at Wa-ma-lam-a Lagoon. A 1000 ft x 100 ft x 14 at it's deepest, dredged out 'cut' that empties out into the real 'cut' that is the marine travel-way between the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.

It's a good idea since many a boater from Wa-ma-lam-a travel out to see the 4th of July fireworks...and that is the extent of night boating for most of them.

Just an idea. Skip.
