 Hello to all. My name is Steve and I just became the new owner of Com-pac 19, hull no. 93. This is my first boat and I have only a little experience in sailing. I plan on taking sailing lessons in the Spring as well as a Coast Guard boating course. The CP-19 appears to be in fine condition. I am buying it from a reputable boat shop who will also repaint the bottom for me among other things during the Winter storage. The folks at Hutchins were also very helpful and supportive. Would anyone care to give some advice about replacing the flat blade rudder with an airfoil type. I spoke to Idamarine about their rudders and it sounds like a good improvement.  Thankyou.

Thanks Craig. The Ida rudder will definetely be on my high priority list for the new boat. Steve :)
