Finally had my first real sail today on Mudlark (motor sailing to my mooring doesn't count). She is exactly what I'd hoped she'd be: responsive, handled Buzzards Bay chop and sails well flat and at 15-20 degrees. This is the first boat I've owned with roller furling, so I've got some learning to do. When we first got underway, I was concerned that Mudlark wasn't making much headway when tacking, but once I flattened the half-furled jib, my tacking angles improved dramatically.

Can't wait to get out again this week.
