Panama City Local Info?

Howdy all,
I get to go to a wedding in Panama City this weekend and we've decided to make a mini-vacation of it. Anyone with local info? I plan on putting in at St.Andrew's park and then we're staying across the water at the Bay Point Marriott. It looks like Shell Island might be a neat place to explore. Also, I'll have my twin 5 year old daughters and my 5 year nephew, so cool kids spot info would be appreciated.
