Hi From Annapolis, anybody else around here?

Hi new Compac C 16 owner ('89)here in Annapolis. Will be venturing out timidly on Magothy/Deep Creek until I have a bit more confidence. Have previously only sailed on "big" sailboats. If there's anyone else around here, it would be great to make contact.

I'm also a new Compac 16 owner, right across the water in Tilghman Island.  There are several people here, including Heave Too, who might be cruising the bay right now, and was talking about visiting Annapolis, see this thread:

Yep, I am out cruising.  I am currently in Smith Creek near Point Lookout, MD.  I should cross into the Bay tomorrow.

Right now the winds are wanting to go North so I will head south.  Maybe going into Mill Creek tomorrow.

This rain is frustrating.  I stayed put because of it.  It seems like it rains every other day around here this spring.

Good luck with the new boat.  I am not sure if I will get to Annapolis but, who knows.  I have three weeks to play and no real destination.
