Today I finally finished my VHF project.  I even saw my first AIS target on my GPS.

The other part is now I have a TON of cleaning to do.  Construction dust everywhere!!!

Congrats! Have you done a radio check yet? I did a random one a few years ago...reached a boat about 10 miles away. I thought it would be further. I tried contacting the local Coast Guard but they never responded back. That was reassuring! Welcome to construction dust...I live in it all week long.

I had the mast laid down but I had it back on my mast cradle so I could do the wiring for the mast and the Coax.  With the mast still down I managed to get the weather channels and saw an AIS target.  It also showed my GPS position on the VHF.  I am digging it!
