Yup,

After all these years I am selling my Com-Pac 16.

It has been kept simple and clean with just a few upgrades:

Jib downhaul, (lower the jib anytime without leaving the cockpit)

Harken blocks for the mainsheet, (the stock blocks were not as good as the rest of the boat)

Bronze oar locks, (these make using an outboard motor optional)

Teak outboard mounting board reversible for long or short shaft motors on stock adjustable aluminum motor bracket

Balanced rudder, (lightens the helm and provides better response and tiller feel)

Rotating mast base (stock one is also included but after trying the rotating set up, you probably won't use the stock non-rotating tabernacle)

Bronze mooring cleats (in place of the small plastic ones that were stock)

Antique Vessel registration so, if you maintain registration in Florida, it's free.  You just pay the annual processing fee :)

The trailer is in good shape with new wood bunks and an extendable tongue for easy launching.

A very nice little boat.  $3,100

My reason for selling is that I am concentrating my time and resources on the complete restoration of my other boat, a Contessa 26.

Hi, Is your compac 16 still for sale? I'm located in Clearwater.

Pacman

Sorry for my slow reply.

Latest update:  I just installed new tires on new galvanized rims.
The old tires and wheels are now spares.

Do you have any photos,  or a craigslist ad?

Well, I have decided to keep my little boat after all.

I really did intend to sell the boat.  I really did but.... when I got right down to it I realized just how much I really like my little boat.

Suuuure you intended to sell. Suuuuure you did! Glad she's still keeping you!

GeeW

These little boats get you like that.
Trouble is you end up owning more than one if you are not under VERY strict orders....
Not of course that I have ever done that..........<cough cough>

Hey! I resemble that remark. I nowadays own 6 boats that use sails as the primary source of propulsion.  Woe unto my Admiral
