Someone (lost the thread)asked to see how the Captains chair was mounted on my boat. When I saw the chair for the first time I laughed and thought what kind of sea hillbilly bassboat rigged up mess is that. I thought for sure it would be the first thing I removed. Then...to be fair to the creative genuis that lies in all of us - i sat in it. All I could say is wow! So comfortable and practical. Elevated the line of sight as well. Here are the promised pics of the mount - very secure but easily removed.

Hey CurtTampa:
It was I.
Thank you very much.
It really does look comfortable.

How does it work when you are heeled?  Can you sit in it with your feet braced on either side of the cockpit.

Here is how I attempted to bring some comfort to the helmsman, other than sitting on two throw cushions. The pad snaps in with four snaps on top on the removable seat.  It is closed cell foam so it does not hold water.  It has worked well for the past year.  Doing it over I would go for denser foam.

Thanks again.
