transporting 16

Hi, I'm trying to buy my first compac, a 16.  But I live on the west coast and most boats seem to be in the eastern half or the south of the country.  I"ve lost one boat already because I couldn't find an economical way to transport the boat from Florida.  I'm short on time-off to go out and get it myself.  Any info/suggestion on a good and cheap way to bring one home would be appreciated.    Then I'll be ready to go the next time the right deal comes along.  Thanks!  H
