Yes, I went overboard a bit.  I had talked to another artist up near our cottage in Door County, WI about doing a painting of my boat.  He said he had so many commissioned works he couldn't get to it till later in 2016.  Well, he gave me a call right before Christmas, and said it was done!  Picked it up today, and here it is.  A very different style of painting, and he added the bay in Ephraim as a backdrop.

Great painting.  As a resident of Fish Creek;  I'll be looking for you next summer.

Gerry,
I sail the boat down in Milwaukee still.  Eventually I'll move it near our place in Sister Bay. The artist just painted us in Eagle Harbor.

Great painting Rob.  I am envious of both you and Gerry.  My wife and I vacationed in Door County this past summer.  We stayed in Egg Harbour and rented a slip at the marina for our Compact 19.  What a great sailing area!  I saw another Compac while we were there, a catboat very similar to your boat except it had a dark blue hull.  Really enjoyed the Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.  Hope to get back to Door County real soon.
