I finally was able to get back in the water at the end of the season. It's been about three years. I was able to get in about a dozen sails,
around half single-handed. With the additions of a bowsprit(I came out 32")and the foiled rudder with the ss hold down rod I was afraid of a lee-helm. I'm happy to report that wasn't the case.Bob23 kept describing it as "power steering" and there's no other way to describe it. With the sails balanced it's literally two-finger steering. I've had the boat about 17 years. With the severe weather-helm before,I had to put a bungee on the tiller the fist few sails so I had something to "pull" against until I got used to the new feel. Fantastic results, well worth the effort.

Even the Admiral came along once! Perfect fall day,10kt wind and flat water. She wanted to try out the helmsman seats. She was impressed. She said it was like the boat was steering itself.

Fantastic!  Now it's time to install, along with the power steering, power hoists, auto tack, push button mooring, and climate control! Aren't these little boats simply the thing. :)

Love all the work you've done.
