Hi,

I'm looking at a CP23 in need of new sails.  Can anyone give me an idea how much sails would cost,  and maybe suggest a good place to get them.

Not sure if the boat is worth it if sails are going to be too expensive.

Suggestions and cost for roller furling would be helpful too.

Thanks.

The Boat purchase itself is always the least expensive part of the process - however the process is enjoyable in a sick kind of way!

You can also try a sail maker for more of a custom fit.  They will be a bit more expensive.

Compac 23 sails are cheap.  Heck, the Mainsail alone on my Catalina 30 was close to 2000 dollars.

Of all the things you can upgrade the one that will make the most difference and will be used  the most is the sails.  You will be amazed at the difference a new main makes- especially if its loose footed.  M
