My post on shooting a basic, no-frill, low-tech noon latitude sextant observation (Articles, Writings, Reviews, Movies > Sail and Boat Related Articles > Bareback Latitude) has received over 6200 readings, just since 13 Feb of this year.  Whaaaaaaaaaaat?

I can't say I'm not flattered by this unprecedented response, but I'm starting to wonder if perhaps this may be some kind of mistake.  I've posted many other celnav-related articles here and none has received anywhere near this kind of readership.  Could this be some kind of problem with the counter?  Or is it possibly related to something else?  (Hint: Google "bareback").

Having said that, merely entering "bareback" into a search engine shouldn't necessarily direct anyone to an article on celestial navigation.  There are a lot of other sites competing for attention before you get to ours.
