CP 19 in England, undergoing refurbishment.

It now appears that I have lost my shroud plates, port and starboard,  (and the inner backing plates) over the winter.

To avoid any errors in 'translation', :),  these are the stainless steel strips fixed to the hull abeam of the mast, to which the shrouds are attached.

I have emailed Messrs Hutchins with a request, but I would be grateful to know if these plates can be fabricated out of stainless strip, please.  It would be really helpful if someone could point me to a photo of the shroud plates to see if a DIY job is possible as a temporary measure.

Many thanks

Chain plates is the term. They are quite thick, and take a lot of stress under sail. I'd be cautious about fabricating replacements. Hutchins' price is very reasonable.

I purchased one from Hutchins a couple years ago and it was $8.  Such a deal.
