....and it all goes right.  Last week, surprisingly the Admiral said yes when I asked if she would like to go up to Bay Springs Lake sail a little, swim a little, and spend the night.  A little cold front came through giving us decent sailing winds out of the north, and dropping the temperature about ten degrees to about 89F and dropping the humidity by about 20 points.  But the water remained comfortably warm for swimming. It was also a full moon night.  I got to try out all the "cruising comfort" projects I've done in the last couple of years and they really made a difference.  The cooler drawer, water jug with spigot, cockpit/cabin table, Wag Bag system, V-berth topper with fitted sheets, companionway screen, and quite a few other smaller items were a hit.  I also used my propane Magma that I got with the boat for only the second time and I wonder why I've been using that charcoal version instead.  The only thing left to fix is standing headroom and I don't think that is in the cards.  Move up to a 27??

The Admiral actually said "this is nice, let's do it more often".

Picture of dawn at our anchorage in Eagle branch about a quarter mile from the main lake.  Did I mention we had the whole lake to ourselves?  Very nice.

Awesome.  Now if I can get my Admiral to say that!  Good job!
