Chocks on my CP19

I ran into a problem this weekend. I tried to use my neighbor's mooring, but the pendant would not fit in my chocks. Of course my neighbor teased me today when he found out about this and told me to install some REAL chocks.
My question is, what is the largest diameter that is recommended to be used with our boat's chocks? Should I even consider installing larger chocks? Especially if I plan on using a transient mooring in the future.

I'm assuming that your chocks are the same factory bronze ones that I have on my 23. I've fit 5/8" line with a cloth chafe guard on the chocks. It's a little snug but it fits. Obviously, your neighbor is jealous of your Compac and secretly wishes that it was his own!
