Yes, you read the subject right. I am unhappy about this but it has to be this way.

My new job is going well, just trying to find the rhythm of the new job and that hasn't been a quick task. I am not used to having folks to do different things because you cannot have others work with items they shouldn't be. But, I think I am finally catching on to the flow of things hopefully. I have really only been there a week so far because of all that training, they don't class me in for all that time which I am glad for, because that would make me feel even worse about not getting too much done.

The 19 still sits in the driveway. I am unsure what will happen to her since my wife and I don't have days off together due to her schedule being overnights. I have a little bottom work to do, a small slice in the keel from putting her on the trailer last time. I also know she will need cleaned up too. Prior to CLR she will even need put together, and I haven't decided if I will keep the furler on her for that or not.........

We haven't made the reservation yet, but we will. I think I just don't want to call it in myself. Ginger will call and set it up sometime. I havent been out at all sailing cause my days off are on odd days, and aren't together. my work hours coupled with drive time makes my days long. I am off today and slept most of it away just recovering from the last 2 days.

I drive past the marina and see the lake is way up, glad I am not dealing with that flood!
But it sure would be nice to sail around, considering all the new places that could be investigated now.........

Well....... since my wife is sleeping and I have to be quiet, guess I will go play computer games for a bit, till she wakes up, so then I can actually try to accomplish something today! Take care all!

Oh, and I am finally back! :)

jason, im glad the job is working out. getting used to something new is never easy but over time it will become the norm. adapt and overcome. anyway buddy, you know all you have to do is give me a call if you want to go out. for now at least i dont think anyone is going out at least not off a trailer. the sailing association is also flooded but im sure in a week it should be pretty much back to normal. if you can give me a days notice i can meet you at hazlett. hey she's not a com-pac but she sails just fine. i hearby promote you to helmsman first class. the tiller will be yours. good luck buddy. dont even think about selling the 19. you and ginger need her.

Welcome Back, Mac.

I suspect once you get settled into the new job flow things will be just fine. You're just not used to change working for the same company your entire career, and that can be stressful indeed.

See you and Ginger at CLR!
