I have the old 1981  compac 23 - need to replace the original depth gauge that is bulkhead mounted on the cabin wall ; anyone know/have  something to replace it ?
Depth or speed/knot meter, combination, ext....  ?

Rahn

I have a Raymarine Bidata depth/speed model ST30 with 2 thru-hull transducers. I bought a newer replacement of the same model for the bigger screen and will be replacing the old one soon. It is a new to me boat and the previous owner said everything works. Let me know if you would be interested.

YEs, but I want to install with IN-hull or transom mount transducers....think it can be done ?

i just put a humingbird pirahna 143 in my catalina18. mounted the transducer inside the hull just behind the keel. i used silicone in case i ever wanted the remove it. tried it today and it worked perfect. its small so i mounted the unit on the cockpit side of the transom. out of the way and easy to see and access. and just 62 bucks

I agree about the in hull or transom mounted transducers. If the transducer holes weren't already in my boat I would look to do the same. Good luck finding what you want.

I think I do have a rather flush mount thru hull from previous owner, it must be for the old Horizon that  also has it;s bulkhead mounted display...can yu send a pic and price ?
