B and I are excited about seeing our good friends at Carlyle.  We are currently 15 days into a 20 day charter on a Beneteau 43-3 in the British Virgin Islands.  Life doesn't suck!

   well less than a month, we still have lots to do. sarah spends every waking moment thinking of jobs for me. today im making more decorations for the big awards dinner. i ordered the brass plates for the trophies (sure hope they get the engraving right) and i have the floats for the race marks (still have to get the line and anchors for them, brake rotors should work. with 26 people coming im hoping the building is big enough (table wise). today i plan to drive up and check on that and see how the ramp and lake look. mike, you have the go-ahead on the jimmy buffet trivia idea. you might post a message about it and give everyone some time to study those all important buffet factoids,  sarah and i cant wait to see you and our other old friends and of course make new ones. with all of the rain and storms we have had we can only hope our weather is good. we have been pretty lucky in the past. every year we try to make the event better and hopefully this year it will be. although its all about the people and in that regard it is sure to be great. see you there    p.s. we are green (pun intended) with envy.
