I am posting this here so if anyone is interested to let me know.
As the folks from CLR know, the Marina had a CP16 there with bow sprit that was neglected. The owner planned to breath life in the boat, but in the end was unable to do so (basically abandoned it) due to things that occurred in his life.

The marina in a few weeks will own it after transfer of title is complete.

With that being said, I plan to get it in the shop and get it ready, etc. It will be able to be trailered off when I am done. I plan to have my guys clean it out, and clean the inside. During this I will take note of things and will post a listing here.

I was saddened when he handed me the keys, and shook my hand. He stared me in the eye and said "Please find it a good home and somebody to love it like I couldn't."  I plan to do just that, just because I fell in love with that boat when she showed up a few years ago.......

That being said, I wanted the boat, but cannot buy it due to other issues I cannot get into, not to mention I already own a CP19. I want to see the boat go to a good home, so let me know you are interested, and I will add you to a list Ill keep of folks to let know. I will also add a listing here in the future and delete this posting.

Also, IF you know of anyone looking for a 16, let me know. I really dont want this to become a dilapidated marina boat...... It still has life in it yet. I was in it today wishing I could snatch it up and love it the way it needs.

I have had the marina contact this owner (each year during the CLR) asking if I could purchase this old girl.  Never got a response.  I would love to restore it.  It needs a lot of love, but it would be a fun project.

Let me know Mac.

I've got an empty garage just waiting for another sailboat to restore.  I'd leave the naming to whoever ended up sailing her after all the work was done.

I have you guys on my list Greene!
A few others have contacted me as well. I am glad to see the interest. I wish I could pick it up honestly, just not in the cards right now with a few things still in the works that keep me from buying anything.

It might take a little bit for the marina to get this thing, as the state has to put it in our name before Eva (Business Side Manager) says she will be able to post it.

So I will be in touch with all that are interested, and those yet to say they are!
