Found the lights and wiring harness at West marine.  It was not a kit though and it was $45.  Ugh!

I ended up buying the lights, wire clips, crimp sleeves (to make a connection), and reflectors (Virginia requires a reflector on the rear of ALL trailers).  I didn't buy the side marker lights because all they had were the LED ones and I think that they are expensive.  I will attempt to use the existing ones and if they don't work I will go to the nearby West Marine and get another pair.

Still, I may look around locally for a better deal.  I can always take them back to West Marine.  I was just glad to find a place that had the lights in stock.

Great site, good folks, and really, you could get and install any set of lights you wanted on it, cheap of little higher priced LED

Up to you, you can also get submersable and non, etc.
Also they have extensions, wire harnesses, etc.

I order from them all the time, check it out.

That seems like a good site....I was going to wire them on Saturday so I didn't have time to wait for the items to be shipped.

With no spare tire and the brakes demands option 1. It will cost you that thousand dollars if you break down or worse damage the boat in a trailer "incident"  Can you sail it when you get to home port? If yes save the mods for next season.
-my two cents-

I had the trailer repair completed.  It came to $999.44 but I have new brakes on the front, new actuator, new brake lines, and new rear hubs and bearings.  This is a huge peace of mind because, after I wired in the new lights on the trailer, everything is new except frame, springs, and axles.  Those items are in good shape.  I also now have two spare tires.

I will probably move her home next week by trailer.  Once at home I will probably use August to do some minor work on her.  My new idea is to slip her month to month at a local marina because I know that the ramps in the area are iffy at low tide and I don't want to have to watch the tide every time I launch and retrieve.  Besides, I am thinking that set-up takes a long time since putting the jib on the furler, attaching the boom, etc, etc, etc.

This big trailer repair did set me back on modification plans.  I have some minor ones that I will do but over the winter I will do some of the modifications and I will probably begin some canvas work for the woodwork and other places on the boat.

The biggest modification will be putting a new flexible water tank in the bow, moving the battery back to the starboard lazzerette, adding another Group 27 in parallel into the port lazzerette, adding water pressure, and a cockpit shower.  I will probably check the wiring and I am thinking about wiring in a new fuse panel with 6 breakers in the future but not for a while.  I will add lazy jacks soon and maybe a dedicated topping lift.

I wish I could find a deal on Sunbrella that I did a few years ago.  I got 60" sunbrella for $12 a yard.  I can't find it in Walnut Tweed for under $24 these days.  I am planning on wench covers, outboard cover, and things like that.
