I was taking my CP 27 to duck creek Marina for haul out and shipping to FL. Around 1pm I saw another CP27 heading for the lift bridge in front of New Bern. Anyone we know?

That was Charlie Deisher's boat, with me on board as (very) unskilled crew. We would have stopped to chat, but had already radioed the bridge. Charlie was nice enough to offer me a ride - my first on a CP 27. You have a pretty boat!

Too bad, would have loved to meet you guys. The previous owner was showing me downtown New Bern. I saw another 27 at Duck Creek Marina when're web are pulling the boat out.

Sorry that we missed the opportunity.  Pretty boat!

I would be glad to help sail your C27 to FL!!!

Wes is anything but an unskilled crew.  I have to admire his attention to detail and motivation in fixing up his '27.  He is also a great source of C27 info obtained by experience.  Great discussions very lite sailing.

I'd advise everybody to take him sailing.

I wish I had the time to sail her down. We are shipping her. I would have loved to keep her up there for the summer season. Cruising up there looks wonderful, plus you probably get wind in the summer! We'll be ready for the May rendezvous in Dunedin.
