I shuddered when I saw them tie together several short lengths of line to achieve a 150' anchor line length.

But then again, they often deployed several anchors at an anchorage, oblivious to the dangers of potential line tangles and difficulty in releasing them in an emergency.

Guardian Angels were working overtime I'm sure.
