Finally got some time today to get over to Creve Coeur lake in St Louis and sail the 16 for a couple of hours with my daughter and her friend. Good chance to try out the new bowsprit - which worked just fine. Winds were 5-10 and variable so we sailed and drifted. I was planing to take family over to Carlyle this weekend (for the 4th) but it sounds like the wind forecast is pretty light so I think I will wait until another day. I was hearing a bit of noise as I pulled the boat today so I need to check the trailer hubs and make sure they are well lubed.

Good for you!

I seem to keep having excuses to NOT go out!  I have, however, been sailing with my buddy on his 36' Catalina on the Chesapeake Bay.
