I had my wife (new to sailing) on our CP23D this weekend out past Point Loma in San Diego.  Beautiful day, lots of sea life, gentle swell .... just perfect.   Icing on the cake .... two sailboats (both beautiful classics - a Kettenberg 50 & ??) altered course to get near our boat and ask what it was.  ComPacs are a bit of a rarity on the Left Coast.  Both complimented us on the classic lines of Luna.  Wife was impressed.   Life is good!

sounds wonderful!  nice to know that there are areas where the sailing season is still in full swing :)   we may get flurries tonight - time to get the skis out!   jt

Sounds like you had a Buen Camino on the bay. ;D

My Marina has a dozen sailboats, five times that many power boats and, on any given day maybe three or four transients most of them doing the loop.  Everyone has to come by and ask about my CP23.  Even the other sailboat owners have voted her best looking lady in the marina.
