I am selling a 1980 Compac 16 sailboat, also know as a CP16 manufactured by Hutchins Yachts.  It is 16' in length.   It has a shoal draft concrete filled keel, so it only drafts 18" making it perfect for shallower waterways, inland lakes, and bays!  Boat comes with two sets of sails.  The originals, and a newer set that have only been used for three seasons.  Only reason we are selling is because this was our first boat and its just too small for our family of 5, so we bought a bigger sailboat.  Trailer has new bearings, wheels, tires, LED lights, new spare tire w/new trailer mount, and a new winch post and winch last summer.  Ready to trailer and sail anywhere you want to go, we towed it over 700 miles round trip last August for vacation to Canada and back like it wasn't even back there(the boat only weighs 1,100 lbs!!!).  Solid boat, could use some elbow grease, some polishing, and some paint on the interior(cabin has two bunks if you want to sleep on the boat, but its very small).  Has a full set of cockpit cushions.  Easy sailing, and very forgiving boat.  The standing rigging was replaced by the previous owner.  It has a roller-reefing main sail.  Self bailing cockpit.  All of the lines are led back to cockpit so you can solo sail.  Also has the optional genoa tracks installed.  I have all new line included to replace all the running rigging, I just haven't had the time to do it yet...  I have titles for the boat and the MagicTilt trailer.  New bottom paint this season.   My only remaining plans were to convert the navigation lights to LED's and paint the interior so my son and I could camp out on the boat this year, but now we have a bigger sailboat, so its time to sell this one to keep my wife happy!    Feel free to ask any questions!
