Caulk to use on deck hatch?

I finally identified the deck hatch as the source of my leak into the cabin. I removed the hatch and am in the process of cleaning it up. I think it may have originally been caulked with 5200 since it was very tough to remove and I pulled up several small pieces of gelcoat when when removing the frame the deck. Any suggestions on what caulk to use when I reinstall it?  The frame looks to be aluminum.
Thanks for your help.

Marc,

I use LIFE CAULK by BOAT LIFE on mine, (and almost everything I install when resealing stuff on boats)

I re sealed mine last year, and this year we decided to repaint the whole boat, so off it came, without issue. My friend who doesnt normally work on this stuff watched me as I did it, and saw me remove a large one on a J35 that was bedded in 5200. He was surprised at the ease.
