motor mounted on trailer during towing?

Richard B.

I've seen references to modifications some fine Compac folks have made to store/haul their outboard motor mounted/attached to their trailer. (I'm assuming somewhere near the front of the trailer)   I can't seem to find the places where those references originate from, though!

Could someone direct me to those postings?

or...

Does anyone have advise or pictures of what they did? ...to give me ideas?

Thanks, hope everyone is enjoying the season fully!! :D

Here is one of the best writeups on the subject.  I did not use the metal brackets to the winch post and mine works fine.  He even mentions in his writeup about how strong it was without the brackets.  Check out the rest of his website too.  I learned alot from him.
