Ok, who has any idea how to post a picture that I found and used as a back ground picture on my Start Screen.

I did the right hand click thing while surfing Goggle Images for 'Gaff Rigged Sailboats'.
I have a cool picture but can't find a 'code' needed to post on this Com Pac site.

Hummmmm. Anybody?

Thanx. skip.

You've lost me.  Start screen?  Do you mean the Home page here at the form? Or the main screen on your computer?

Pictures on the web can be linked by finding the full URL of the actual picture. Generally speaking have the pic opened on the web and right click->properties. There should be a long code http:www.blah.blah.com/blah.blah.....  then it will end in .jpg or .gif usually (could also be .bmp).  Copy that code then paste between the image brackets on the forum.  Sometimes the code won't be there, so you have to geek out and view the source code in detail and find the needle in the stack image code you're looking for.

If you can download it to your computer, that's ideal.  Depending on your browser and the permissions the site gives to downloading files, you can use the File-> Save picture as then put it on your C: drive in a known spot.

Most of the time this doesn't work. So you can screen capture the entire screen (ALT-Print Screen for current screen, CNTL-Print Screen for more than one).
This copies what is on your screen.  So increase the size of the image on your screen before pressing ALT-Print Screen). Then paste it into Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, or a good image editing software that let's you CROP the picture.

Crop it down to just the part of the image you want to see.  Save that as an image.
The change your background to this image (right click on desktop or control panel depending on your OS). You should be able to figure that out.

OK, now it's time for the Ohio State game...so go Bucks!
