Just bought my first ComPac in March.  Its a CP19 Hull #387 and we are really enjoying it.  We are taking it down to Gulf Shores in late September and planning on sailing Perdido Bay area.  I've never sailed in a coastal area so i am really excited.

Can anyone recommend a good marina.  We are hoping to leave it in a slip so we don't have to pull it in and out everyday.  Also, is there a must see area / marina / etc you all can recommend.

Have wanted to sail Pensacola Bay for a long time.  Hope you get there so you can tell us about it.
Have sailed the bay and Santa Rosa sound with rentals but never spent more than a couple of hours at a time at it.
Hope I can take my own boat and spend days sailing there and to Navarre.

Hope you have a great time and let us know how sailing Perdido was.

Send a PM to Hunterb4.  He sails that area often.  (He's also Bob Burgess of Trailer Sailing fame).  He's a member here but doesn't chime in very often.

Thanks for the recommendation.  I will PM to Hunterb4 as you suggest.  Are you saying that Hunterb4 is Bob Burgess?
