Hi guys , can you tell me what are the signs of a "blown out sail? Mine flaps a bit, bought a used CP16 , but don't know if its a rigging problem or its simply old (which it is) and I need to get a new one. Thanks for your previous advice!

Couple of thoughts-
Check your battens - old battens may be broken and not supporting the leech as well as they should
Install a vang - It pulls your boom down and can flatten your sail, making it not quite so blown-out, especially if your off the wind (sheets eased)
Do you have a leech line?  that can be adjusted to help some to.
Make sure your outhaul is tight, if it's loose, you get too much belly in the sail, making your situation worse.

Good luck!
