I like that..."Do the right thing and go for the cp23."

Additional comparisons can be made at <http://image-ination.com/sailcalc.html>  This site has over 2,000 models of boats and comparison can be made between any two.

Well, guys I wander astray and bought a precision 23.  All of your advice and opinions were straight and to the t the truth.  I also talked to or sought out P23 owners and they were as adamant about the performance and satisfaction with their boats as well.  The P23's looks appealed to me more and the windward performance was a big deal for me.  What really brought it this decision, I found the exact boat I wanted at a great price.  The boat came out of Indianapolis, sailed in a freshwater resevoir and in immaculate condition.  The guy was like I am about taking care of his toys.  Had a trailer and motor all in good condition and hardly even used. Still have my legacy, going in 2 weeks to sail her for one last time with my new foiled rudder, before I take her to the broker.  God, I'm gonna missed that boat.  Still have some compac friends so I'll keep up with latest developements.

Congrats, Greg:
I like the P23 but of course am a bit biased toward the CP23. Quite different boats, I suppose.
Good luck...we forgive you...you'll be back just like the prodigal son! Even though you've wandered from the fold, your posts are always wecomed here! Any photos?

Greg, glad you got past that period of indecision, you ended up with the boat you wanted, never a mistake.

With that nice roomy cruising boat, and given your location there is no excuse for not doing the B.E.E.R cruise in 2012.:)
