Well,

It was a long time coming but I finally got my Eclipse "Shooting the Breeze" in the water for the first time this season.

I did my first lake sail with her at Pyramid Lake (California) about 20 miles from home, I usually ocean sail out of Ventura Calif.  some 50 miles away from home.

I was pleasantly surprised of what the lake had to over as to boat ramp, clean rest rooms, plenty of pick nic areas to dock up to and a good constant wind. This lake is noted for its windy conditions but this day was perfect for my sailing needs at about 15 to 20 mph.

Although their were white caps, the waves were only about 12 inches, not like the white caps I sailed in off the cost.

All in all a most enjoyable sail.
