I am sorry to have to put my Compac 23 up for sale.  It is a beautiful boat, brought up from Georgia to south eastern British Columbia Canada.  She is ready to sail and ready to trailer away.  The sails are in good condition, a stain on the main.  Both main and self furling foresail have been restitched, and a second reef point put in the main.  The boat is very seaworthy with a few minor blemishes in the gelcoat.  I started the brightwork over the winter and have cetoled the hatchway slides, the hatchboard slides and the solid teak hatchboards.  The jib halyard was turned around so that it can be used as a topping lift, a much better idea than the toggle clip on the backstay that holds the boom centered.  I have started installing a vfh radio and have the deck through, but have not installed it.  At the mast  top, I have installed an anchor light, but again I have the new four pin deck connection but haven't hooked it up.  There is an anchor and new rode plus chain.  Also the old rope chain rode which I find light.  The stove works well and the sink drains, but I haven't used the water tank and hand pump.  All ports are bronze with bronze screens included.  The boat is powered by a 2000 honda 5 horsepower outboard motor that runs well and has no problem moving this boat.  There is a one year old battery, new dock lines and about 4 or 5 fenders included as well as a boat hook.  I  had this boat inspected prior to purchace and only minor faults were found.  Standing water in some of the side compartments from poor sealing of the chainplates and loose deck to hull connection, which is nut and bolt with a lot of sealing putty.  I got most of the port side done while at dock last summer.  The boat also comes with a porta potti asnd the yacht owners handbook, a well written instruction manual.  The trailer is a Sail Trailer,2007, made in Columbus Ga.  I have completely rewired the trailer, and have added very heavy duty tie down points wherever I thought a strap may be used.  I have added two spare tire mounts, and a spare tire with cover.  I designed and put together a winter cover that has covered the boat for two winters without any problem, shed snow on its own and is very portable when taken apart for summer.  I'm asking $16,000 Canadian.
