Hello Sailors. Iam still working on a boat that was a piece of yard art. I have got a long way to go ,but I know it will be a looker when I get it done. How well do they sail wing and wing down wind with no boom vang. All the boats that I have had always had a vang. Thanks Chuck

I added a Gahauher vang and boom bail and cleat at the mast attaching point just to keep things in control. Gotta stay on top of things when sailing wing on wing. So how large is the headsail? Mine is a 155% and at times I wish I was flying less sq foot.

In the heavy breeze I have been known to toss out a 3 lb Hills Brother's coffee can on a bridle and 30 foot of line on a stern cleat just for a bit of drag.
